Today, touching a stranger is potentially dangerous. People from Presidents to Supreme Court justices have been accused of inappropriate touch, and the entire nation is now keeping their hands to themselves. In the Song of Solomon, we see the romance between the King of Israel and his true love. Many have suggested it is an allegorical picture of the modern day church and Christ the King.
